Three Guys wants to wish you a happy and healthy New Year. In the spirit of new beginnings, we would like to share our mission with our valued customers for 2019.
Our mission has always been to provide you with fresh produce at a great value while building sustainable careers for our team, who are some of the best in NYC. It costs a lot to provide our services on a fair and legal basis, especially as compared to many of our competitors, whether they be larger companies who do not employ or train their own staff, or “gray market” stores who don’t adhere to wage laws or payroll taxes.
We proudly stand by our mission, which means we not only abide by legal requirements, but also go above and beyond to offer other valuable protections to both our customers and our staff, whether it be ensuring your always receiving the best, or offering retirement benefits and financial counseling services for our staff.
New York has passed legislation raising the minimum wage by roughly 67% over two years. This year’s increase will be the last, based upon current legislation.
Three Guys supports this change, as it helps hardworking New Yorkers to support their families. That said, these changes have a disproportionate effect on companies like us, which conduct business transparently and legally.

A word about Three Guys and our pricing, We are an ethical employer and we believe in paying our employees a living wage. For our business, higher wages means better employee retention and increased productivity, which translate into happier customers. We also pay a percentage of our employee’s medical benefits so they can take care of themselves and focus on health. In addition, there are fluctuations on certain items based on weather, seasonality, crop yield, rising transportation costs, and other variable factors. Three Guys still strives to offer a superior product for the best value rather than just trying to be the cheapest guy on the block and sell our customers sub-par produce. We feel that we are still competitive with pricing when it comes to the products that we are offering.
We are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Including weekend and holidays.
As of January 1st, 2019, Three Guys will no longer offer home delivery over the phone. We are also not offering in-store delivery. We will be processing all delivery through our online partner mercato.com. You can find our online store at www.mercato.com/shop/3-guys-from-brooklyn. You can also find the link on our website 3guysfrombrooklyn.com. Click “Shop Now” and you will be redirected to the site. Mercato offers the same prices and weekly specials as we do in-store. Your produce will continue to be hand-picked by our experienced staff consistent with the quality you are accustomed to. By partnering with Mercato as our preferred carrier and delivery service, you can pick a more specific delivery hour according to your schedule and needs. Deliveries will be made in-person and front door only. All calls regarding delivery, returns, quality, and customer service will be managed by Mercato.
