Three Guys Teams Up with Instacart to Continue the Fight Against Food Insecurity

For over 30 years, Three Guys from Brooklyn has been the go-to place to get fresh produce and groceries. Serving the community has been our top priority and we’ve been on a mission to make food accessible to everyone in our neighborhood. With 1.5 million people in New York City struggling with food insecurity, we strive to do all we can to help our customers put food on the table.


We’re excited to announce that we have teamed up with Instacart again to launch a digital ad campaign to continue our fight against food insecurity in New York.


Instacart is a grocery delivery and pick up service that allows customers to order their products online or with their app. Through our partnership, the implementation of the EBT SNAP program allows our customers to use SNAP benefits to order their groceries and receive same-day delivery.

Our relationship with Instacart emerged in 2020 when we collaborated to offer grocery delivery and pick up. In February of this year, we expanded our partnership to grant our customers the ability to use their EBT SNAP benefits for their Three Guys products, through Instacart.


We feel strongly about making our products more accessible to those in our community. Since a large percentage of our sales come from SNAP, allowing our customers to use their benefits to get their groceries delivered will go a long way. We know that transportation can be an obstacle for some of our customers so we want to do everything we can to help those in our neighborhood put healthy and nutritious foods on the table.


Three Guys owner Philip Penta says, “We have seen our Instacart sales shoot up by 40% as soon as we started offering online EBT. This tells us that we are filling a niche through Instacart that has not previously had access to affordable produce.”



Instacart shoppers pick, pack, and deliver grocery orders as a great way to earn extra income.
